Read to four-legged friends at the library! Trained therapy dogs will be at the library eager to hear a story from readers aged 5 - 10.  We hope these readers will gain confidence by reading to non-judgement (and cute) listeners! We'll have a book nook with soft seating.

Homework help will be available at the Pomeroy Library on Tuesdays from 3:00 - 5:00 PM. We'll provide the space, paper, pencils, crayons, rulers, and other supplies for school projects. Get extra practice with those spelling words, find a quiet place to read, and even help out others during this group afterschool session for kids in grades K - 6.

Learn about the plants that are native to our area. Native plants are naturally easy to grow (they're already adapted to our area) and beneficial for both gardeners and insects alike! Representatives from Rural Action and United Plant Savers will be at the Pomeroy Library on July 17th from 4 - 6 sharing information about native plants and how to get started cultivating a native landscape of your own.

You are locked in a room with your team! But, there's a way out! Use logic to figure out the way to escape by finding clues in the room. Solve a series of puzzles to escape before time runs out! Registration is required. Call 740-992-5813 to register. This program will be held at the Pomeroy Library on July 14th from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM with 1-hour timeslots for your group. You'll be assigned a time upon registration.
