On the first Tuesday of each month we'll host an Evening Storytime at 6:00 PM at the Pomeroy Library. These sessions are designed for the whole family to enjoy and are a good fit for children ages 3 and up to elementary-aged. We'll read stories and provide crafts for participants.
These sessions are offered after-hours so that children who attend school may participate, as well as caregivers who work during the day.
**There will be no Evening Storytime on Tuesday, July 4th, 2023, instead the Evening Storytime in July will be on Monday, July 3rd.**

Learn the art of flower arranging with the Shade Valley Council of Floral Arts!
Learn to identify flowers, how to groom specimens, and new floral designs in this workshop series. Each session will cover different topics and various tips on flower arranging. Additionally, these sessions will help participants prepare for the Meigs County Fair Flower Show by learning new floral designs, though not required.

The Adults Summer Reading Program continues with Mahjong at the Library!
Mahjong was developed in 19th century China and is now played all over the world! Learn the classic game at the library, or join the group if you already know the rules!
Mahjong is a tile game stamped with Chinese symbols. Four players play the game at a time. The goal of the game is to be the first to match your tiles to a specific set from a scorecard by picking and discarding. Beginners are welcome!
There will be two sets of tiles available to play, with instructors.
