Have a cup of coffee, socialize, and color during our newest program for adults on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month at the Pomeroy Library. De-stress while coloring using adult coloring books and colored pencils, provided by the library. You're welcome to bring your own supplies as well! Bring a friend or meet someone new at the library.

We'll host a special Acoustic Night on December 10th at 6:00 PM at the Pomeroy Library! Enjoy the "sounds of the season" with this Christmas carol sing along.  Bring your guitars, violins, and other acoustic instruments and play along or sing along with the group. As always, listeners are welcome and especially encouraged for this Acoustic Night special event. 

Learn about the twelve signs of the zodiac and the personality traits associated with each!

Sue, Professional Evolutionary Astrologer, will be discussing the two faces of personality associated with a particular Zodiac sign. There are often positive and negative traits that intertwine in a zodiac. For example, scorpios like light hearted environments and are known for compassion and independence, but can also be stereotyped as vengeful and possessive when wronged.

A representative from Ohio University's Admissions Office will be at the Pomeroy Library on Monday, November 13th to host an application workshop. Learn about the application process, and apply to OU at this event. Applicants may apply for free during the workshop!

Have you always wanted to learn to bake your own bread? Here's the opportunity to make your own bread, just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday! Register for our first bread making class at the Pomeroy Library with Anna from FlowerBard Breads on November 20th at 5:30 PM. 

Attend this class for beginners where you'll mix your dough at the library to take home to bake. Participants are welcome to bring their own aprons or bowls, or use supplies provided by the library. All materials will be provided and registration is required. Call 740-992-5813 to register.
