2025 Summer Reading: Color Our World
There are challenges and events for all ages! Stay busy this summer at the library with reading challenges, family events, performers, Storytime, prizes, lunch, and more!

You may begin logging reading activities at anytime, but earn entries into the challenge between June 2 - July 25.
Get creative at the library this summer! Register for the library's 2025 Summer Reading Program to complete reading logs, attend Storytime and see performers! Join us to celebrate a summer of reading at the Kickoff at the Racine Library.
Weekly programs are offered throughout the program June 2nd - July 25th, for kids but are also great for parents and caregivers alike. Don't forget about the Summer Celebration at the end of the program at the Racine Library! These events happen on Wednesdays, at the Racine Library, with the exception of June 18th, which will take place at the Pomeroy Library.
**PLEASE NOTE: programs which are scheduled to take place outdoors may be rescheduled due to inclement weather. Stay up-to-date with any scheduling changes on the library's Facebook page. You may also call the library at 740-992-5813.
Weekly Children's Program Schedule
Wiggle Giggle Read
Bring your babies and toddlers to the Pomeroy Library on Thursday mornings for music and movement with Ms. Anna! We will sing about being kind and talk about the differences that make us all special this summer! Each Thursday at 10:30 AM.
STEAM Night
Elementary-aged kids can stay engaged at the library this summer with science experiments, building activities, technology and more! Ms. Haley will host this event each month on the fourth Wednesday at 5:00 PM at the Pomeroy Library.
Storytime @ the Branches
Stay busy with weekly stories and crafts featuring themed activities based on our performers each week! Summer Story Time sessions will begin the week of June 2nd and end on July 25th.
Lunch @ the Library
Bagged lunches for children ages 0 - 17 will be provided at each of the events this summer, while supplies last.
Family Craft Night
Look out for announcements about family craft sessions each month through the summer! We'll have rock painting, make hot air balloons and craft more adventures this summer!
Reading Logs on Beanstack
