Storytime is a library tradition! We've hosted Storytimes continuously for decades! Join this long-held tradition at any one of our four library locations throughout Meigs County: Pomeroy, Middleport, Racine, or Eastern.
What's Storytime all about?
- Stories! We'll read two books per session, with an emphasis on a particular theme, usually seasonal.
- Arts and crafts! These typically go along with our stories and promote school-readiness skills such as gripping writing tools, beginning cutting, and more.
- Socialization! Little ones will have a chance to share, take turns, and meet new friends.
Who is it for?
- A good fit for ages 2.5 - 5, preschool age children
- Younger and older siblings are always welcome!
- Have a younger or older kiddo that would benefit? Feel free to bring them! All ages are welcome!
When is it?
- Through the week, Monday - Thursday, at 1:00 PM
- Each week at all four library locations:
- Mondays @ Racine Library
- Tuesdays @ Eastern Library
- Wednesdays @ Pomeroy Library
- Thursdays @ Middleport Library
- Sessions run as follows:
- Fall Storytime: September - mid-December
- Winter/Spring Storytime: January - April
- Summer Storytime (a part of Summer Reading): June and July
