This summer it's all about space! Join the fun on June 3rd with "A Universe of Stories", the Children's Summer Reading Program.
Each performer or program is held at the Pomeroy Library, usually at 2:00 pm on Wednesdays, there are exceptions. See below for a complete list.
The Kickoff will be at the Racine Library on Wednesday, June 5th.
Registration for the Summer Reading Program begins on May 21st. Register at any of the four Meigs Library locations.
Participants who read 25 books or more will earn a certificate for a free mini pizza from Pizza Dan's in Rutland.
Children who attend 3 or more programs will receive a Summer Reading t-shirt featuring this year's theme, "A Universe of Stories". T-shirts are limited to the first 100 participants.
All programs are free and open to the public.
Also, following each program, FREE meals for kids will be served! Lunch at the Library is open to anyone under the age of 18. Meals are available while supplies last.
Upon signing up for the program, participants will receive the following:
A booklet to track reading
A schedule of events
Ohio State Parks coupon for 50% off Sunday-Thursday camping
Ohio Renaissance coupon for 50% off gate admission
